Djedi Dojo

Work: Branding, launch and pitch messaging, illustration, and strategic collateral

For: Djedi Dojo

Djedi Dojo is a visionary initiative grounded in healing, leadership, and sustainable growth in Senegal and beyond. I was engaged from the earliest stages of its conceptual development, helping to translate a powerful but abstract vision into a fully-formed identity system and communication platform.

Creative Brief

Working closely with the founders, I developed the logo, visual identity, and core messaging that now define the Djedi Dojo brand. The visual style draws from organic, hand-drawn forms and a vibrant palette that reflects the playfulness, fluidity, and rootedness of the Djedi Dojo ethos. I created a wide range of illustrated brand assets, including a concert/festival poster, iconography, and layout systems for presentations and event collateral.

Beyond design execution, I helped articulate the brand’s narrative voice: drafting pitch messaging, decks, and storytelling frameworks to reach investors, government officials, artists, and community stakeholders. My work emphasized the Dojo’s unique public/private model, its cultural and economic impact, and the deep values of Ubuntu and Taranga that shape its mission.
