Tapestry, Ingenuity's annual fundraiser, brings together leaders in arts, education, philanthropy, and policy to honor the people and partnerships advancing arts access in Chicago Public Schools. Tapestry uplifts creativity and collaboration while highlighting the critical role that data and funding play in sustainable, equitable arts access for Chicago Public Schools students.
Creative Brief
As Ingenuity's Communications Manager, I was responsible for leading all external communications, design, and web/print presence for the event. As part of this process, I created a new event identity to reflect Ingenuity's forward-looking, data-driven mission, blending vibrant color gradients, abstract forms, and typography to tie in the event's overarching ethos: 'weaving' equity for arts education.
Tapestry's branding marked a strategic shift I spearheaded to align Ingenuity's visual identity with its evolving vision - a direction that now informs the organization's broader communications and storytelling.
